Hi! Iā€™m Kate Clifton aka Kate Languages

................

I'm an ex-secondary school MFL teacher, who left the classroom in 2017 to set off on my own adventure. I started with some private tuition, then branched out into writing teaching resources and running online CPD for MFL teachers.

I studied French and German at university and have an A Level in Spanish. I taught French, German and Spanish for around 10 years, during which time I also completed an MA in Applied Linguistics, and have been tutoring and teaching MFL teachers since 2017.

In recent years, I have been commissioned by the BBC to write content for BBC Bitesize French (GCSE and Key Stage 3) and Celebrity Supply Teacher with Vick Hope. I also create KS2 French and Spanish lessons for EuHu.

I am a mum of one, wife (also of one!) and avid reader, amateur cook and (even more amateur) gardener. When Iā€™m not sitting at my computer, youā€™ll generally find me outside with my family, enjoying some fresh air and a nice bit of nature!
